“A dream come true for hot sleepers.”

The brand

Not a typical bedding company.

Sleep deprivation is the silent epidemic of our times. Yet almost nobody thinks of bedding as the solution. We do. We are a sleep science company.

Rest started five years ago with three men and a duvet, building for the sleepers the category ignored: hot sleepers, beginning with women waking at 3am to night sweats, for whom no real solution existed. So we created one. Where bedding settled for generic fabrics, we went to the science: material innovation crossed with breakthrough technology, engineered around the specific barriers between a sleeper and a good night. We call it tech-xtiles.

Five years on, Rest is a leader in cooling bedding in the US, commands a premium in a commoditised category, and counts Drew Barrymore as a fan. Now we are building for Australian nights: the heatwaves, the humidity and the 3am wake-ups.

We do it for one simple belief: everyone deserves a rest.

Rest Evercool® fabric is independently tested by SGS to feel four times cooler to the touch than cotton, and its Evercool®+ Cooling Sheet Set is a 2026 Red Dot Design Award winner. Trusted by more than half a million sleepers worldwide, Rest launched in Australia in October 2025 and is available at au.rest.com.

Our expert partner

“When night sweats and 3am wake-ups happen night after night, it affects how you cope and function. It's not something women should have to just push through. We need to talk about why it happens and support each other through it.”
